Cameron first became interested in mortgages when he was working as a project manager for a large real estate developer. He describes becoming “obsessed” with building his own real estate portfolio as a way to achieve financial freedom.
When attempting to buy his first investment property, a triplex in Hamilton, he had a terrible experience with the bank. Thankfully, he sought the advice of a mortgage broker and gained a new appreciation for the process. He was sure there were more people in his shoes and became determined to help.
